Pocket Classical Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pocket Classical mobile application (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the App

Pocket Classical is a classical music companion app that includes features such as discovery tools, an on-device journal, and links to external resources and partner content.

2. No account required

The App does not require you to create an account. Your journal entries and related content are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share them externally.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you enter into the App, including journal text and attachments (such as scans).

You are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of information you enter
  • keeping any sensitive information you choose to store secure on your device
  • maintaining your device security settings

4. Optional device permissions

Some features are optional and require device permissions:

  • Photos (for adding/changing a journal profile photo)
  • Camera / scanning (for scanning pages into journal entries)
  • Face ID / Touch ID (for Journal Lock)

If you do not grant these permissions, you can still use the rest of the App.

5. External links and third-party websites

The App may open external websites (e.g. partner/sponsor websites or informational pages). These third-party websites:

  • are not operated by Pocket Classical
  • have their own terms and privacy policies
  • may collect data according to their own practices

Pocket Classical is not responsible for third-party content or websites.

6. Partner and sponsor content

The App may display optional partner content and links. Partner content is provided “as is” and may change or be unavailable. Pocket Classical may update, remove, or rotate partner content without notice.

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms. If we update them, we will revise the effective date above.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “as available” basis. We do our best to keep the App reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.

Pocket Classical does not provide legal, medical, or professional advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Classical shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.
